Success! St. Timothy Wine & Cheese Fundraiser
St. Timothy’s Catholic Church had a wine and cheese fundraising reception on Feb 23. About 140 people attended this event and $13,200 was raised on behalf of the Catholic Coalition. Our proceeds will go towards the ongoing Fullerton Development project, of which the Catholic Coalition is one of the lead Cornerstone Builder sponsors.
Special Thank you to Chef Frederic, who prepared a delectable spread
which included a wide variety of cheeses,
mushrooms, hummus, samosas, spanakopita, and a meat carving station. Everybody enjoyed plenty of food and wine,
and no one was left wanting.
We also listened to Ariel Hyatt, Director of Faith & Community
Relations at Habitat OC, as she explained the Habitat for Humanity of Orange
County program. She was enthusiastic and
knowledgeable answering all the questions people had about the program and did
a wonderful job.
Eduardo Garcia, the new home owner of a veteran Tustin home, and
daughter Luna, also joined us to speak a bit about their experiences in their
new home.
This event was a spectacular fundraiser, due in large part to the incredibly
supportive St. Timothy community, from their priests and Knights Council, to
their parishioners, donors, and volunteers.
Thank you for making this not only a successful event, but a fun one as
well!
