Fullerton Build Day
The Catholic Coalition helped build the first phase of construction at the Richman Park Neighborhood in Fullerton on Saturday June 8. Catholic parishes, organizations, and individuals gather on the second Saturday of each month to build four homes for deserving low-income families.
This three phase development will produce 12 homes over the next three years in Fullerton, with ambitious goals for the Catholic Coalition to raise $100,000 per year and contribute 5,000 volunteer hours.
Saturday June 8 was a productive day for the Catholic Coalition crew. 20 men and women of all ages served to solidify the frames of the houses and paint planks of wood. The crew worked tirelessly and selflessly in 80 degree weather, breaking for water and shade.
Construction continues on throughout the week, with the next Catholic Coalition day scheduled for Saturday July 19.
Join the Catholic Coalition and be involved in building homes, community, and hope.
